The repeated breaking of friendships made with volunteers is damaging to the already vulnerable children in orphanages.
Identity
A person's real identity is made up of many things; mother, father, grandparents, childhood experiences and all the rich but small aspects of family life.
Separated
Many children in orphanages suffer separation from their families. It makes it harder for them to be parents in their later lives.
Support Families
Society should place much more emphasis on supporting families, instead of supporting orphanages, which are a failed and abusive childcare system.
